A Beautiful Example of Service to the Community<\/p>\n
Local pastors in the Maryland Korean Christian community continue to provide warm and compassionate ministry to elderly residents at Lorien Nursing Home in Columbia.<\/p>\n
Pastors Donghwa Park, Daesung Park (Bethany Korean UMC), Kanghee Lee (Grace Baptist Church), Esther Lee (International Love Church), along with Ministers Yeonsin Song and Jaehwa Hwang, and Father Seong-rae Kim (Korean Martyrs Catholic Church of Baltimore), regularly visit the Korean unit at Lorien to comfort seniors undergoing long-term treatment and rehabilitation.<\/p>\n
They shared that seeing patients smile and find peace during worship and praise brings them great joy and gratitude.<\/p>\n
Volunteers Elder Jeong-ja Kim and Deong-hwa Lee invited the pastors to Golden Living on the 17th to thank them for their dedication. During the visit, the pastors also toured the newly opened memory care unit.<\/p>\n
